Sports massage is not just for athletes! Many people require more focused massage for work, repetitive movement issues, injury, illness and stress related muscle tension. I aim to listen to you and together work out what movements, massage techniques and pressures, mobility/rehabilitation work will best help you to get back to where you want to be. My aim is for you not to rely on me but just to be a helping hand (or two) to getting you back on track and understanding what may have contributed to your pain or its hanging around longer than you expected.

Running, cycling, gym work, team sports, whatever you enjoy, exercise is a fantastic way to take care of your body and mind but sometimes leaves us temporarily feeling a little battered and sore, stiff or achy. Sports massage is a great way to help reduce pain and calm things back down after physical activity. Plus after all that hard work - you deserve a great massage!

Specialised massage, stretching and mobilisation for movement based issues.

Traditional western massage. Taking time out for you, relaxing body and mind. What’s not to like?!

Firmer than a Swedish massage for muscle tension (but never painful!) but not as specific as a sports massage. A general full body or focused on a particular area such as back or legs.

Performed fully clothed on a futon, this holistic based massage works from the feet to the head, both relaxing and stretching the body. Encouraging you to be aware of held tension in the body and using breath, pressures and gentle mobilisations and stretches to help you let go and move more freely. It has been described as “lazy yoga”. I am now offering sports/remedial work in this modality as well as a more general treatment for those who prefer it. Many movements can also be done on the table if you find getting down to the futon difficult or wish to blend Thai movements with traditional massage using oil/wax.

Warmed basalt stones are used to heat the therapists hands and directly onto skin with oils in a relaxing massage. The sedative warming effect helps reduce stress and anxiety and helps ease tension. Basically this just feels really nice!

Relaxing and de-stressing massage of shoulders, arms, neck, face and scalp.

A focused foot massage inspired by reflexology, this can be on its own or combined with other areas e.g. a back massage. Please note I do not diagnose.

Pregnancy massage available. We create a bespoke appointment for you, using Pinks Boutique Organic products suitableb for pregnancy. Position options available are the Belloust Pregnacy PIllow, kneeling stool or reclined and supported on my super comfortable massage table with plenty of pillows.

We can tailor your treatment to include a PInks Boutique Foot Ritual and/or a face and scalp massage , as well as any body massage you choose.
